“If I get my MFA from Dell’Arte, where can I work?”

The Dell’Arte MFA program graduated its first class of 10 students in 2006. Since then another 40 students have completed MFA degrees. Here’s where some of them are working:

Carlos Alexis Cruz (’07) performs with Do Jump Theatre and Imago in Portland, Oregon, founded Teatro Pelu. He won a 2011 Princess Grace Award for Theater and Playwriting.
Helga Rosenfelt Olsen (07) is a member of the Danish actors union, currently performing with Theatret Thalias Tjenere, Denmark's leading mask company since 1996.

Liza Bielby ('09) co-founded The Hinterlands theatre in Detroit. Featured in July 1, 2011, NY Times article: 2011/07/03/fashion/the-young-and-entrepreneurial-move-to-downtown-detroit-pushing-its-economic-recovery.html. She won a $10,000 2011 TCG International collaborations award.
Deepal Doshi ('09) premiered his solo show in Mumbai in 2011 and is touring India.
Jamie van Camp ('09) performs with Inferno Theater in Berkeley, and other Bay Area companies, has founded a new community arts center in Placerville, CA.

Julie Douglas ('10) is an actor in the SF Bay Area; recently in "The Illiad" with Inferno Theatre.
Adriana Chavez ('10) is half of the duo, "Clowns With Gowns" with alumna Heidi Rider in NYC.
Elizabeth Colon Nelson ('10) is a member of The Actors' Gang in L.A.
Genessee Spridco ('10) is founding artistic director of The Suitcase Shakespeare Co. and directs for the Bristol Renaissance Faire.

Jaeuk Shim ('11) is a working professional actor in Seoul, Korea.
Kathryn Tabone ('11) is teaching at a teen theatre program in Washington, DC
Alice Nelson ('11) is touring the Canadian fringe festivals, summer '11, and teaching clown



Dell'Arte PTP  & MFA Alumni have worked for theatre companies in Asia, Central & South Asia, East & West Europe, South & North America; they have worked in universities and colleges; many have started their own ensembles. (See additional links)
