TARTUFFE

Molière’s satiric masterpiece in the commedia dell’arte style. This daring adaptation blends mask, music, and slapstick into a spectacular theatrical feast.  This classic tale of a devious religious fanatic who weasels his way into a wealthy family is full of intrigue, romance, and mistaken identities, forbidden love, and a host of over-the-top characters.  Part farce, part political satire, and part musical, this boisterous and lavish comedy is a hit for audiences everywhere.
Directed by Giulio Cesare Perrone.

HUNTING OF THE SNARK

Dell'Arte's dynamic family-theatre adaptation of Lewis Carroll's nonsense poem, full of original music and physical comedy. Join the Baker, the Butche, the Beaver, the Banker, and a host of other hilarious characters as they embark on a hunt for the elusive "snark".  From the imagination that gave us ALICE IN WONDERLAND comes another wonderful tale told through poetry and the trademark
Dell'Arte physical style.  A theatrical treat for all ages!
Directed by Michael Fields.

THE GOLDEN STATE

Moliere with the heat turned up, the stops pulled out and women on top. Desperate lovers, illegal servants and obscenely wealthy women claw for every cent they can get in the hedonistic social jungle of modern-day California. Starring Dell’Arte’s Founding Artistic Director Joan Schirle, this raucous, sexy farce reinvents Moliere’s miser as an elderly California widow who wants to rent out her daughter’s womb to her golf partner.  A comedy of greed, lust and other American values, The Golden $tate is an outrageous production that asks serious questions.
Written by Lauren Wilson and Directed by Michael Fields.
