Laura Munoz
Faculty, Guest Artist

Laura Munoz is a dancer, choreographer, yogini and educator born and raised in Spain. She has trained mostly in Spain, Amsterdam and California and continues to study wherever she goes. She has danced with choreographers Linda Sievers, Bonnie Hossack, Marisa Grande, Donald Fleming and Gabriela Solini among others. From 1998-2002 she was faculty at Dell'Arte International and collaborated with the company in various productions as actor and choreographer. Before coming back to the West Coast she was core faculty at the Brown University/ Trinity Rep Consortium teaching in their MFA program for 3 years. She has been part of the physical theater ensemble Workhorse, culminating their relationship in a version of Lorca's Blood Wedding. Back with Dell'Arte, she has appeared in Inverted Alba, based on Lorca's works. She is founder and director of the dance theater ensemble Pequeño Teatro de Danza, a container for dancers, actors and musicians.
